SOCIAL STYLE Tip of the Day

Building Rapport with an Expressive Style Person

Expressive Style people are naturally focused on relationships, so they are open and eager to developing good rapport with others. When first working with these individuals, be energetic and show your excitement about working and collaborating with them. They appreciate informality and sincerity, so don’t be afraid to show your personal side and be lighthearted in your interactions. A good sense of humor goes a long way with them. You’ll know that these people are actively engaged in conversation when they are showing their enthusiasm through language, facial expressions and gestures. Though quite talkative, they will also make efforts to let you speak and listen to what you are saying.
